With all of the ways to celebrate the Fourth of July in Denver this year, you are sure to have a blast! Don’t miss out on any of the fun with our Fourth of July event guide.

Independence Day Celebration at Four Mile Park

When: July 2nd
Where: Four Mile Park
Time: 5pm – 10pm

Delight in an annual Four Mile tradition brimming with old-time games and historic demonstrations as well as the new-found joys of food trucks, a beer garden, and a viewing of the Glendale fireworks show after dark.

Admission is free, donations suggested. Refreshment and activity charges apply. Sorry, no pets. Bring a blanket and arrive early, as space is limited!

Colorado Rapids 4thFest

When: July 4th
Where: Dicks Sporting Goods Park
Time: Pre-match activities @ 5pm

Each ticket gets you into the pre-match activities, post-match fireworks show and concert! Activities will include: live music, Soccerfest inflatables, human foosball, a ropes course, quad bungee trampoline, laser tag arena, mechanical bull, obstacle course, bounce houses, Eighteen 76 bar, live karaoke, DJ performances, and C38 tailgate. Celebrate your 4th of July with the largest public fireworks show in the state of Colorado.

Stars & Stripes Express Fest

When: July 3rd
Where: Union Station Terminal Bar
Time: 1pm – 10pm

All-aboard Denver Union Station’s fourth annual Stars & Stripes Express Fest!  Celebrate America with a FREE concert on Terminal Bar’s extended patio on July 3rd from 1pm to 10pm.  We’ll be partying through the decades with tributes to your favorite hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today! Avery Brewing Company will also be on-site with giveaways and special beer tappings of their award-winning brews.

Littleton’s Red, White, & You

When: July 3rd
Where: Clement Park
Time: 5pm – 10pm

Come celebrate Independence Day with food, beer & wine garden, exhibits, bouncy houses, a free concert featuring Wash Park Band, and of course fireworks!

Downtown Independence Eve Fireworks

When: July 3rd
Where: Civic Center Park
Time: 4pm

Come join the ninth-annual free community celebration featuring a concert, light show, and fireworks finale! The concert will feature Chris Daniels and the Kings and the 101st Army Band of the Colorado National Guard. Beginning at 4 pm, a variety of food trucks will be available, along with two NEW beer & wine gardens! Lawn seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis; arriving early is greatly encouraged, as are blankets or low-rise concert/beach chairs. Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnics; a variety of food trucks will also be available on-site. The event will take place rain or shine.

Stapleton 4th of July Pancake Breakfast & Parade

When: July 4th
Where: Fountain Pavilion Central Park
Time: Starts at 9am

The Annual Pancake Breakfast will begin at 9am at the Fountain Pavilion in Central Park. Breakfast may be purchased at the event, which include pancakes, sausage, and juice. Suggested donations are $5 per adult, $3 per child or you can purchase a family 4-pack (2 adults/ 2 children) for $12. All donations will benefit the Stapleton Stingrays Swim Team.

Bring your decorated bicycles, tricycles, wagons or scooters for the parade, which will begin at 10:30am at the Fountain Pavilion in Central Park. Participants should line up along the promenade at the fountain and head east toward the lake, looping around back to the fountain area. There will be parade leaders at the start of the parade to guide participants through the course.

Fireworks at Elitch Gardens

When: July 4th
Where: Elitch Gardens
Time: Park Closing

Once again Elitches will light up the Downtown Denver skyline with their fireworks extravaganza! Shows start at park closing time.

Evergreen Music Festival

When: July 4th
Where: Buchanan Park, Evergreen
Time: 10am – 7:30pm

Last year, over 1,800 attendees came to celebrate! This year’s festival is expected to be even bigger, as they honor military personnel and provide outstanding entertainment to attendees of all ages from Evergreen and other communities, such as Golden, Lakewood, and Denver.

Golden 4th of July Festival

When: July 4th
Where: Lions Park, Golden
Time: 11am – 9:30pm

City of Golden and Golden Lions Club will be hosting the 4th of July community celebration in Lions Park in Golden. Activities include free rides for the kids, face painting, and live music throughout the day. Union Gray plays from noon to 3 p.m., followed by Kerry Pastine and the Crime Scene from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Something Underground takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. 1300 10th St.

Park Hill 4th of July Parade

When: July 4th
Where: 23rd Avenue, Park Hill Neighborhood
Time: Starting at 1:30pm

Welcome to the ninth annual Park Hill 4th of July Parade! This community-friendly event will again be marching along 23rd Avenue on Independence Day. Stretching from Dexter St. to Krameria St., this year’s parade will include more than 50 groups, including floats, marching bands, costumed characters, classic cars, and more!

Englewood’s 23rd Annual Family Festival and Fireworks

When: July 4th
Where: Belleview Park & Cornerstone Park
Time: 3pm – 10pm

There will be plenty of family fun at the 23rd Annual Family Festival and Fireworks. Activities include miniature golf, batting cages, bouncey castle, miniature train ride, a children’s farm, and much more!

Westminster 4th of July

When: July 4th
Where: Westminster City Park
Time: Starts at 4pm

Don’t miss the best fireworks display in the north metro area! Get there early—activities, food vendors, beer garden, and performances start at 4 p.m. Concert begins at 7 p.m. and the fireworks go off at 9:15 p.m. There will be a free shuttle bus from many locations in Westminster! Please note: grills, glass containers, personal fireworks and outside alcohol are not allowed at the event. Sponsored by NMAA/SCFD, Westminster Public Schools and Oskar Blues Brewery.

Brighton’s 4th of July Celebration

When: July 4th
Where: Carmichael Park
Time: 4pm – 10pm

This year’s celebration will feature free activities for children as well as a variety of food vendors.

DJ Tidalwave will kick off the musical entertainment at 5 p.m. consisting of interactive activities, group dancing and more. Soul School, a high energy dance band, will begin at 7 p.m. Soul School’s performance will feature a vast repertoire of music which includes Golden Oldies, Beach, Motown, County, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Rhythm and Blues, and Contemporary. The group will satisfy all musical tastes, from tight harmonious vocals and smooth jazz to an all-out dance party.

Immediately after, there will be a patriotic presentation. The city will cap off the evening with a spectacular fireworks display – weather permitting – beginning at 9:45 p.m.

Arvada 4th of July Celebration

When: July 4th
Where: Lutz Ballfield and Stenger Sports Complex
Time: 7pm – 10pm

Celebrate Independence Day in Arvada mingling with neighbors, friends, and thousands of people enjoying the day with free activities. This year, Arvada’s Independence Day Celebration returns to its roots, focusing on the core of the holiday–fireworks!

Thornton’s 4th of July

When: July 4th
Where: Carpenter Park Fields
Time: 4pm – 10pm

Beer gardens and food, a performance by the Thornton Community Band, skydiving jump and fireworks.

Broomfield’s Great American Picnic

When: July 4th
Where: Broomfield County Commons Park
Time: 5pm

The celebration starts with pony rides and inflatables. Enjoy a free concert with the “17th Avenue Allstars” and “That Eighties Band”. Bring your picnic dinner or enjoy a dinner from our vendors at the park. Charcoal grills are not permitted. After the concert, at dusk, the fireworks display begins, approximately 9:30 pm.

Aurora’s Fourth of July Spectacular

When: July 4th
Where: Aurora Municipal Center
Time: 6pm – 10pm

The city of Aurora invites you to experience the 4th of July Spectacular and celebrate Independence Day with a firework show that lights up the area skyline. The Aurora Municipal Center Great Lawn will feature live music, delicious food, and a firework display revered as one of the best in Colorado.

The Colorado Symphony’s Family Friendly Fourth of July

When: July 4th
Where: Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater
Time: 7:30pm

Celebrate the stars and stripes of the good ol’ U.S. of A with your Colorado Symphony this Independence Day! It’s the return of the Family Friendly Fourth of July with even more surprises and star-studded talent. This family-friendly program features your favorite contemporary scores and the best fireworks the Front Range has to offer! Celebrate America with the Armed Forces Salute, Stars and Stripes Forever, the Overture of 1812, God Bless America and a slew of your favorite hits from stage and screen.

Denver Outlaws Fireworks Show

When: July 4th
Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High
Time: 7pm

The Outlaws vs. the Boston Cannons at 7 p.m. One of the coolest close-proximity extravaganzas you’ll ever see. Fireworks within the bowl at Mile High Stadium feature pyrotechnics paired with a show on the 220-foot wide Thundervision screen.

Boulder: Ralphie’s Independence Day
